FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything people ask before connecting Riko to their Tally — approvals, security, pricing and more.

What is Riko?

Riko is an AI finance team that runs on top of your Tally. It reads your ledgers, invoices and ageing and turns them into answers, finished workpacks and next-best actions — so you get CFO-level reporting without exporting to Excel or learning a new tool.

How does Riko connect to my Tally?

A lightweight connector installs alongside your existing Tally on the machine where it runs — no Tally files or settings are changed. It reads data through Tally's standard APIs, so it works with every Tally version. Your accountant can set it up in a few minutes; the first sync of ledgers, vouchers, stock and parties finishes shortly after.

Does Riko change anything in my books?

Riko reads your Tally continuously. It can post an entry only after a person confirms it — and on Business and above, only after a second person approves it. Every posting is logged with who proposed it, who approved it and when. Nothing is edited or deleted silently. Tally stays your book of record.

Is my financial data secure?

Yes. Your data is protected with AES-256 encryption in transit and at rest, and hosted entirely on Mumbai servers. Your Tally credentials are never shared, you control exactly which companies and data sync, and you can revoke access at any time. A SOC 2 audit is in progress.

Where is my data hosted?

100% on Mumbai-based infrastructure in India. Your Tally data stays on your own systems; Riko reads it through the secure connector and processes it to generate insights. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.

What can I ask Riko?

Anything you'd ask your accountant about the numbers, in plain English — "What was my profit this month?", "Who owes me money?", "Show customers overdue by more than 30 days." You can also run a full workpack from chat by saying something like "Run MIS for May," and the finished file lands on your board.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes — Android and iOS, plus WhatsApp. The connector installs once on the Windows PC where Tally runs; after that you can ask from anywhere.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — 7 days, the whole product, no card. Connect your Tally and explore chat, the dashboard, outstanding, inventory and the day book before you decide.

What does Riko cost?

Plans are per Tally license, per year, plus GST — every company on that Tally included. Basic is ₹5,000 for one person, Business ₹12,000 for an owner and the people who keep the books, Teams ₹20,000 for CA firms, auditors and multi-branch businesses. See the pricing page for what each includes.

How do I pay?

By UPI or card through Razorpay, billed annually in INR. No card details ever touch Riko's servers.

Do I need technical knowledge to use Riko?

No. Riko is built for business owners, not IT teams. Your accountant handles the one-time connector install; after that you just ask questions in plain language in the web app. Most setups are live in under 10 minutes.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Stop whenever you like. Anything Riko posted is in your Tally with a full log, nothing Riko did depends on Riko staying connected, and you can disconnect the connector at any time.
